|vijay||I'm all out to pay $350 for top and another $350 for doors. But the lowest one that I have seen so far in SFO Bay area is $750 top and $550 doors...Most of these salvage companies are asking $1500 for the combo here. They got new inventory from CFC...they are all over the place here.|

Its all about where you are
and the time of year
Most likely and cheapest way is find
a top then find the doors
I think 350 for top and 350 for doors is good
but sometimes you can get cheap doors
because they need work same with top
What can you live with or do they need to
be really nice or are you seeing nothing where you live

I bought my hard top from a guy on ebay. He was selling the top for $350, and it was in great shape. No cracks, and all the windows are in perfect shape. When I drove over to his house, he also ended up having a pair of full steel doors. I guess I got kind of lucky, because I bought it all for $600. The doors were in even nicer shape then the top itself. They had absolutly no rust inside and out. The only problem with it was one of the latches needed lubricated, but after that it was all good!
My advice is to look around on ebay. You might have to drive a little while to pick one up off ebay, but you can probably find one within 4 hours driving distance or closer.

Tough to find a decent set full door and hardtop combo
I have been looking for a set of full doors and hard top off n on for almost 2 years now. Every time something comes up on craigslist it is no lesser than $1500. Now, there are entire Jeeps being sold for $2000 in non-running condition with hardtop and full doors. I just donít like to do the paper work of owning a Jeep for parts plus I do not have space.
Anyway, what are your experiences in buying full doors and hardtop, what did you pay for either or both?
