bwilburn Well I tried every method you guys gave me had very good success. I removed all six with none broken or stripped. I did have 1 stubborn one, Talked to a old timer He gave me some advice I tried and I thought I would share it. He suggested to spray with pb blast and then heat with a propane torch, Repeat until you suceed. It took me a couple times. I tried it one time at night no sucess sprayed it went to bed and in the morning did it again a couple times and bolt came out. Very slow going but better than a broken bolt or striped nut.

bwilburn Well sounds like pb blast is the way to go. Gonna give it a try. Thanks for advice

cheapjeep71 It sucks when you break the welds on the nut inside the frame. Trust me, I know. PB Blast the hell out of it. I'd spray them for at least a week, then spray them for another week after that.

NAVYCHIEF also, after the pb blaster, try tightening them a little then loosen them.

1992wranglersahara PB Blaster. Spray it on liberally and hammer the bolts lightly to encourage it to get down in there. Keep doing that over and over for a day or two and then give it a go. They can be really tough to get out, so be prepared.

transfer case bolts

Does anyone have a good way to remove transfer case cross member bolts, with out breaking them. I tried air impact, a breaker bar with pipe, no luck.
