02 Apex Sounds like you need a new electrode for your on-board gas-grill. Sorry, couldn't resist. Again, this sounds like another problem I hope to avoid.

NalinMFG ha thanks, thats a google engine right there!

i understand its function, i dont know whats causing it to do it constantly though...i mean 45mins after start up its still ticking away like a burnt turn signal flasher...

Chip4bc That's the Evap canister purge solenoid. It allows the EVAP canister to be purged at predetermined times and at certain engine operating conditions. Once the system is purged the ticking will stop until the next purge cycle.

feels like a constant electrical ticking...coming from here...any idea whats up?
