|Warren544109||I don't know if this is the same issue but when I first got my jeep the 4x4 wasn't working. But when I lifted one side off of the ground and kept playing with the 4x4 lever the front wheel would spin but a lot slower ad I was able to stop it with my foot. When I opened the transfer case the shift fork was worn down to a point on one side and was not properly engaging the 4 wheel drive.|

To me, this sounds like you are reaching the limits of the Jeeps suspension, and it can no longer flex any more to provide appropriate traction.
Are your Track Bars still installed?

|cjyjjeep||no clanking like anythings broke and they both grab they just give out under pressure|

I was going to say the same thing, maybe a twisted shaft. Could be the Splines at the CAD are gone as well.
Never herd anything like this. Very strange...

|cjyjjeep||if one front wheel is setting without much weight.. yes it spins but if both front wheels are holding a load just my back tire spins out..... i can feel it start to pull up a small hill but as soon as it starts to grab and starts taking on some weight it gives out.... this is a small hill not bigger then half my 31 inch tire and has a steep ramp...|

Just to clarify, the front end is engaging, correct? When the back wheel spins out, is one of the front wheels spinning out as well?
Your wording is a little on the confusing side. No such thing as a "weak" 4x4. You either have power to both diffs or you don't. Changing from a CAD to the cable has no effect on performance. You're simply changing something that was automated to manual. The end result stays the same.

When you go wheeling do you air down at all??? I ran a D30 open and D35 open all last year in some very interesting areas on Rocks rock waterfalls, loose sand hills, loose shale and gravel hills with no issues and usually a very slow crawl lots of low range and never had an issue with wheel spin. I am very conservative with the skinny pedal since I had a D35 in the rear.
I was very happy with setup but this summer I swapped the rear for an 8.8 had a Grizlly put in and added a Lock Rite in the front. Now its a beast on the hills and I love it. With 8.8 I have no fear of breaking an axle so on to the more advanced rock crawling here in the Desert west.

Shows: DSA Anti-spin differential in the rear axle section.

|djwrangler||The issue you are describing sounds exactly like an open diff working it's magic. Or bald tires...|

|cjyjjeep||Weak means it grabs when aproaching a small hill but as soon as it does grab my back tire spins out... i can not approach slow and crawl up anything....open diff isnt the problem. i know the difference in a problem and just a normal stock jeep.|

|dancin1||I had the same problem after the cable installation. The fix for that was a auto locker. The open diff was the problem. the auto locker fixed it. I had no problem with the factory limited slip in the rear, now, the front end seems to be pulling me through any mud or otherwise sticky situation.|

|jokerchief462||During the cable install the instructions show and tell you to adjust it for enough throw to engage the collar over the two shafts. Maybe check it.|
