|Jerry Bransford||Have you had the speedometer gear housing off the transfer case lately? That's a common source of leaks from a nicked speedometer housing o-ring that can look like a tranny leak.|

|AzTJ||^ I think I'm having the same problem with mine. With the 32's and stock 3.07's I know it gets warm driving on the highway and up and down mountains. It comes from the bell housing and just goes everywhere underneath. Is the vent in the bellhousing area?|

|DUCKIT||I thought I had a tranny leak .... keep wiping and checking found out it was just getting to warm added a cooler and a deeper pan haven't had any problem at all .... dumb location Jeep added the vent behind front cover so I keep thinking it was the front seal leaking|

|Rawkon||what RPMS were you pulling on the highway? You prolly just got the trans a little warm and it was spitting out the vent. check your fluid level and add a cooler with a deep trans pan.|

32RH Jeep Trans leak
On the way back from my 2K road trip I developed a leak (about 60mi from home)
Seemed pretty bad when I stopped for fuel in Merced (about a drop per second and the whole under carriage was wet)
I filled it and drove home.
When I got home I took it easy by taking a longer (Herndon Ave) home.
When I arrived home I only had a few small drops in the garage.
The next day I decided to go wheeling and just keep a good supply of fluid with me just in case.
When I got to Oakhurst I added some fluid as it was back to the drop-per-sec leak. I decided to go ahead and try the day. Funny thing, it did not lose any more fluid during the whole day of wheeling. No drips or visual signs of leakage.
I came to the conclusion that it will develop a substantial leak when doing hard highway driving, but it seems like it wont leak when I am just driving it in normal in-town conditions.
Any suggestions? I am thinking of pulling the tranny and checking the pump seal and case for cracks. The fluid is still bright red and does not smell burnt. It is still very strong and does not show signs of wear (at least not in the performance).
Once it is out I am thinking of upgrading the Converter since the engine will soon be a stroker.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
