Got an e-mail back from Warn. The sent me a PDF to print off and send with my rebate. They will honor it.
I love good customer service!

I e-mailed Warn earlier today. I have read on forums that they have good customer service. I will hopefully hear from them this week.
I don't want to bash this company because that is just not me unless I am really wronged, but I guarantee that at least 75 percent of us have one of their catalogs at home somewhere. They are listed as a premium seller. I had bad service from this company a few years ago and thought I would give them another try. Companies and people who work for them change over time and was willing to give them another shot.
We will see what Warn has to say, but I find it hard to believe that in a down economy they are out of one of their most popular winches.

(can't blame me for trying.)

|Jerry Bransford||Sometimes delayed shipments are nothing more than the dealer having financial problems, like if he owes Warn $$$ for past deliveries and they won't ship any more to the dealer until they pay the past due amount. Not saying that's necessarily the case here but I wouldn't bet $$$ that Warn is backordered.|

|TheGG54||If they charged your credit card already I'd have them send you an invoice so you can send it into Warn. If they didn't charge you and they send you the winch after the rebate date, I'd tell them you want $100 off (Trust me they can do it, there is a big mark-up on Warn winches, I sell them).|

That's how my Bestop rebate is setup as well...I just mailed it out the other day since it has a postmark date of 1/31/10.

I would also contact Warn and find out if they're going to accept the rebate if you don't receive it in time, even though the order was placed nearly a month ago...tell them the company said they're waiting on Warn to ship the winch and see if Warn admits they're having issues. If the company is jerking you around, you'll know it when Warn says something along the lines of, "No...we're not behind...we haven't received any orders from them lately or something like that."
...and if that happens, you better be ready to either eat the money you were going to get from the rebate or call the company up and demand a full refund (or a $100 discount to make up for the money you won't be getting with the rebate).
Best of luck to ya!

|9JΞΞРωяλиglєя7||Sounds like my problem when I purchased a hunting bow from nationalarchery.com. Took me 3 months to get my bow and I never got the accessories for it. Ended up sending the bow back because it was in the worst shape and had missing pieces. If I were you I'd look that company up on the better business bureau. They might have a horrible rating and complaints about that same problem. Hope they get your winch in soon. I know I'd be too giddy to stand 25 days of waiting.|

Is Warn out of winches???
Getting a bit frustrated. Ordered a Warn 9.5ti on New Years Eve. Lower price, free shipping and a $100 manufacturers rebate. After e-mailing the vendor a couple times they keep telling me that they are out and they are waiting on Warn. They say they will e-mail when it ships. This is from a large warehouse company. (Not my favorite company, but they had the best price, so I thought I would give them another try)
The $100 rebate must be postmarked by Jan. 31st to get it. Today is the 25th and nothing yet.
Has anyone else ordered a Warn winch in the last few weeks and been on delay like I have or am I getting jerked around?
