plastics017 Hi,
I'm new to the site as well - I just registered today. I have an 09 Wranler X - and I got the relocation brackets from quadratech. They work great, although with mine, you cant see out the passenger side mirror when the door is mounted - so I only use the bracket on the drivers side. Massachusetts law (where I live) says you only need TWO rear facing mirrors, so I use my winshield mirror and my drivers side mirror - and the mirror on the passenger side just comes off with the door. I've never had issues with my door hitting the mirror. The ones I got were these: Rugged Ridge 11025.04 - Rugged Ridge Mirror Relocation Bracket in Black for 07-10 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimted JK - Quadratec

They are the "Rugged Ridge" relocation brackets at quadratec...

Good luck,

inzgary I plan on installing this in the spring for soft doors.
Do pay attention to the fact that your passenger side mirror will be partially blocked when the doors are on. Some people run this kit only on the drivers side for that reason.
A quick solution is the mirror that attaches to the door hinge.

Geoff@Bestop Sure! Go to a site like quadratec.com and search for "mirror brackets" - you'll get some weird results for light brackets, but there are also several mirror mounting brackets to pick from.

Lots of us run Jeeps with no doors, so we need to move the mirrors. And on my CJ, that's where they put them in the first place (doors were an extra option back then).

Windshield mounted mirrors do NOT work as well - it's hard to get the angles right, and it seems like the doors always find a way to smack them. But it does work.

But we sell replacement JK mirrors now, so you can always get a replacement if they break. (hey, I get paid to do some marketing!).

Relocation Mirrors????

Hello Everyone,

Im a new member to this site and was looking for some input on my mirrors of my JK. I was just wondering if I get the relocation kit (which i would like to cuz i want to use the factory mirrors) that mounts on the body (windshield) if my door would hit them when I opened them fully? Anybody know?

Thanks
