help needed on sliders.
ok posted this in builders corner but not much helpful advise in there... lol.
Hey guys, its been awhile. finally starting to dig back into the TJ and going to be working on the CJ again.
Here's the deal, I'm taking this welding class so I have to come up with a project. figuring I'll take advantage of the class time and the extra tools to match to make some rock sliders for the TJ. I found a plan online at jeepforskin.com but its for a YJ. Its the flush mount to the rockers like Shrockworks and other pro-made sliders. I just realized though that the underbody/frame work is a little different on the TJ.
TJ's frame dips below the tub about halfway down the rocker panel. need some ideas (or a new plan) to remedy this. so anyone got any suggestions or plans? attached is the plan I found.
