liv2rid could be the starter relay or the control unit

liv2rid i swapped the relays around and had the same result. it will turn over but it will not fire. any other ideas.

minderbinder3 Check your relays in the power box under the hood by the battery. There is one for the starter, auto shut down, and fuel pump. They are interchangeable so move them around and try it.

on the tj its located in the under the hood fuse box, has a section of tape over so you don't remove it.

4Jeepn If you have not done so, unhook both pos and neg on the battery, wait a few mins then hook up. Not sure if its the same on YJ's but the TJ's have "master fuse" that can be removed to sort of reset everything.
