s3nt3nc3d If your tires are all good I'd agree with the shock suggestions as well.

shocks work by restricting fluid movement to slow down the spring travel, therefore smooth out the ride. cut off the fluid completely and you have no suspension to speak of causing your issue.

kilgoretrout844 I think my tire pressure is where it should be, i run 28 psi in all 4 of my 35" BFG A/T. Im thinking, actually hopeing its just needs new shocks.

s3nt3nc3d Also check your tire pressures... if your tires are just low enough, it is going to ride rough as sh*t until they warm up. Keep in mind if you over inflate them, they may also make it ride rough so pump em up just right. I think I've got 28 psi in my 31" BFG A/Ts.

cold ruff ride

my jeeps suspension rides extra ruff when I first start driveing it when it is cold outside. After a few miles the suspension seems to soften up and ride like usual...still pretty ruff. But untill it gets to that point it is terrible... I will hit a small bump in the road and the rear end litterly sounds like it comes off the ground and slams back down, makes a really loud thud.

I have been meaning to replace the shocks soon but havent had the time. I know that will definatley help out my situation. But do you think there is more going on that makes this loud thud from the rear end, just worn out shocks, or is it all just a jeep thing
