03 RUBI Before you spend the bucks on neoprene seat covers you may want to check out the large number of threads and replies on the subject. Hint: 90%+ were negitive.

ehron I heard, yes heard, that the liner won't bond to the plastic of interior parts. I am not sure as I have never tried it myself, but I have read that in a few places now.

justin6212 Oh, I will...

I totally agree with wasurfer86's suggestion on getting a junk dash and testing it...

In fact, I've already found one...

kilgoretrout844 Dude I dont know..if thats your taste... just sleep on it, take a nap, go to bed, rest on it, fall asleep, then think about it agin. hahah do what you want buddy but you have to drive it everyday... what is a messed up dash going to give you? Like I said sleep on it, your ride man.......

justin6212 You can shit on my parade all day, just don't fart bare assed on my pillow...

I agree with you, on the pep and paint, but I wanted it to be rugged. I may see if I can find a junked dash somewhere and test the theory.

I think it would look sweet to have the whole interior that glossy herculiner black with black neoprene seat covers.

The whole color scheme I'm going for is black and maroon (chilipepper)

There were some diamond plate accents (rocker panels and rear corners) when I got it, and I had the dealership yank them and paint them black. I'm pricing black rims, have a black top, etc.

good luck on the herculining, let me know how it goes...

I'll probably do mine next weekend, weather permitting.

wasurfer86 im not sure i would do mine like that but to each his own. consider this, go but a dash at a junk yard and put some liner on it. if you like the look go for it but if you dont your not really out anything.

Nova6 Not trying to shit on your parade man, but i think it'd be a bit too much. If you're really that hell bent on fixing the dash, why not just prep it and paint it too match the exterior or even just a solid black or gray?

Just a thought. But I'm also lining up my tub with Herucliner tomorrow, it should be interesting lol

justin6212 I've read in a few other places that people have done it and it works?

"It's all the prep work" they says...

I don't know, I would think that if the stuff is tacky enough, it could look OK...

My interior panels are grey, and the top edge of the dash is faded and looks poopy...

It was a thought.

kilgoretrout844 Your going to bedliner your dash.....lets just think about that for a second....your going to bedliner your dash......No. Wrong. Sorry man no.
02-05-2010 01:42 AM
justin6212 ...I figured if I was doing the tub, I might as well have it all match...

Herculiner on Interior parts...

I'm thinking about pulling all of my interior parts (dash, etc) and coating them with herculiner...

Anyone Tried this?

I know I'll have to take the airbag on th passenger side into consideration, but according to herculiner it adheres to plastic...

Just a thought...
