No, you can't tell from that picture. A real "fog" will have a piece of metal wrapped over the bulb right behind your "ee" i jeep. Another way to tell is to turn them on and take another picture. A real fog will be completely lit up in the bottom half, and almost no brightness in the 4 grill squares above you "ee"
...or turn them on at night against a wall and check the beam for yourself. a fog will make a bright horizontal bar of light, some light scattering below that bar, not much light above that bar. a flood will put out a large soft area of light like a house lamp, and driver/euro will have a very obvious hot spot in the center. From the lens, it can only be one of these 4 types( it's not a spot like someone else said). The only reason you would want to know is of course, if it's a real fog, you definitely don't want it up there. so when are you going to black out that orange writing on the lights? That's bright enough without turning them on. LOL

|reno92||The two center lights look like spots and would be fine. I can't tell if the two outside lights are fog or driving. Driving won't be as bad a fogs up there, but spot or pencil is what you want. A spot or pencil will normally have a clear lens, no grooves in the glass. Fog and driving will have grooved lens.|

What's more strange to me is that it came with 4 installed lights with no wiring installed.
My advice would also be to take the 2 fogs off the roof and get them down on the front bumper then buy another set of spots, drivers or even euro beams to put up there. Fog's don't belong up that high up with their wide and narrow beam, you basically need to point them nearly straight down at the ground to see them light up anything useful. ...that is if they're real fog reflectors with the shield over the bulb.

Shawnbn, Welcome to the club. Lights will be just the beginning.
Use black as the ground, same at the battery terminals/leads. Are you wiring in a relay with that many lights?

On a side note, for what it's worth, I too would wire the white as hot and the black as ground- just for uniformity's sake.

Need help with my kc lights.
My girlfriend and I just bought a 91 wrangler and it came with 4 kc lights on a overhead light bar. Two are floods and two are spots. The wiring is black and white. Which one is hot? I think it's the white but just want to make sure before I wire them wrong. Thanks.
