|Dclemins2||Haha i know man! I actually welded at my girlfriends dad mechanic shop part time before i start running the crane! But i work at a chemical plant in virginia. All we have is rough terrain cranes, a 40 ton 100 ton and 150 ton|

|TJZ||Oh and, start Welding ! You will never regret it. Haha. Great skill to have and Mad $ on the side.|

What kind of Crane do you operate ? I hear that's crazy good $.
I worked on the waterfront in Wa. State loading Barges with goods for the Alaska Pipeline when I was younger and made Mad $.
By the way, I wasn't saying you should get a Job, I just meant if you have the means to school yourself as a Mechanic, your Jeep habit will go way beyond your current dreams of Jeeping.

|Dclemins2||Thank you mowrangler! Thats exactly what i meant! Im not impatient i just do t want that feeli g if saving up all that money anf the. Spending it so quickly! Id rather pay in small amounts. I guess im just going to buy piece by piece.|

|Mowrangler||My point is borrow responsably. I do it and I amnot even a rut let alone a deep hole. Sometimes people have a long time between paychecks and cant pony up the money when a good deal is available. I do it all the time. That is what credit is for. The op sounds like he is responsable enough to ask questions. Why not give him a break?|

|TJZ||Lol, it's a jeep forum, not a Real Estate Forum. Talk about a Money Pit ! Buy a House. Haha|
|10-20-2013 01:21 PM|
Did your boss get rich by borrowing money to customize his Jeep? That's not how my boss got rich. Jeeps are a terrible investment.
This can be a slippery slope into a deep hole. If the OP has the discipline to do juggle his money that way, then more credit to him.

You might not be a spoiled brat, but you are an impatient one.
Financing $10k worth of upgrades at 18-19 years old is wildly irresponsible. Rather than dumping all your money on a flashy Jeep, you should work towards being self sufficient. Buy a house.
I'm guessing you do a lot of crane and rigging work for the oil & gas companies. When the bottom falls out of the current boom, you will wish you had spent your "riches" more wisely.
Build your Jeep piece by piece and learn it step by step. You will appreciate it more and others will respect you in the end.

|Mowrangler||Check out Ebay if you use paypal and have any credit they will give you a Paypal credit line. That might help you. I dont want to cough up large sums at one time so I save or use the credit line. Its worth a try.|

|Dclemins2||Lol i didnt mean to come off as a spoiled brat! Im a crane operater working 6 -10s thats why money isnt a concern, i just didnt want to wait and save all the money i was hoping i could get it all now and gradually piece everything together. But i definately work my ass off for every dime that i have, i didnt mean for it to sound like my mommy and daddy do everything for me! All they do is pretty much let me live with em lol|

Take a student loan and go to a trade school to become a Mechanic cause , DAMN ! You're gonna need it.

must be a good life where money isn't a concern but yet your here
asking if anyone knows of a parts house where you make payments ??????
|10-20-2013 08:41 AM|
|Dclemins2||Im not trying to sound like a big shot or anything lol, but im not really worried about digging nyself in a financial hole. I just graduated high school and was lucky rbough to score a once in a lifetime oppurtunity, so i still live with my parents at the moment, so money isnt much of a concern, i just dont want to wait, but i guess itll just give me something to look forward too. I already have everything planned out what i want for looks, but does anyone have any performance suggestions? Its a 2010 Jk|

you do a little..save a little...do a little more
to me that's the fun part of it...always looking forward to the next mod
but I guess if your really that impatient, go to the bank and get a loan

|Dclemins2||I know lol its not that i cant afford it, i just would like to do everything sooner than later. I got 10k in parts lol i was hoping there was a site that allowed you to pay in monthly payments instead if having to wait and save. Im also a musician and i know a bunch of sites that let you make payments and i wasnt sure if there was a site where i could do that with parts|
|10-19-2013 10:15 PM|
If you can't afford it, you don't need it that badly. Work more, make more, or spend less on other stuff, budget, and save.
Sorry but its the truth.
