If buying new, just follow the manufacturer's service interval for oil change (first one) (not sure in Kilometers but here in the USA we change our oil at 3000 miles for example) then after that whatever needs service (transfer case. trans, rear end, etc) can be changed and synthetic fluids used form this point on.
Then with the synthetic fluids you can usually change oil at 5000 miles unless you're running your Jeep in severe conditions like dust/mud/water. etc.

|daggo66||You will have to get used to your face being sore in the beginning. It comes from the big stupid grin on your face when you drive a new Wrangler! Don't forget to wave to other Wranglers/CJ's.|

That's very cool -I drove a wrangler base with off road tires last week and it was awesome in the snow- that's muy real issue, since my civic coupe it's so mean in winter
With the jeep I remembered my delivery driver job -30 years ago-I felt it strong, rough not so bouncy and those 6 hungry cylinders made me smile again..
Thnak you guys

Be aware of??
Hmmm....well for starters you're going to get a lot of guys giving you the "look"
Then you'll have to deal with all the Jeep happiness that you will be overwhelmed with from day one...
Then, you'll be smothered by the seemingly, countless ways to upgrade, modify, or in essence, make your new baby yours...(this is one of the most fun things)
Then, you will be in the company of a rare breed of individual that share a camaraderie with other Jeep owners (no matter what year or degree of mod) and will find yourself smiling and waving to them with earnest...
Then, If you get the soft top (and you should) you will need to be aware of the abundance of sunshine and the wonderful smells of the passing countryside that will bombard your senses as you happily, drive along...
Then...you will most likely get a little "shower" (after a rain) from your new Jeep when you open the door to climb in...kinda like a little wakeup "hello" that lets you know you're alive...
Then...you will be getting sudden urges to just jump in your new Jeep and discover new places to see and experience...not to mention your offroad capabilities have just increased a thousand fold...
Hmmm...other than that...nothing to be aware of...

New JK manual 2 doors
Hi everyone I'm going to buy a 2010 Wrangler -tired of the sissy 21st century cars- want to know if there is something I have to be aware of.
Thanks in advance
