G-Pur Dude, with a black top, black armor on the rear, and the black center section of your hood, I think it would be ridiculous to paint the front bumper white.

Just in case you don't know how to use the Googlebox, here are a few examples:

Sorry i moved to FL because i dont have a DL and my car is stuck back at home in PA.
I'd be more then happy to "warm it up" while you're gone if you like. Just send me the keys, your address, and your social security # and I'll be sure to hook you up

In regards to the original post, it would either look absolutely hideous or look straight out of the early 90s (aka: absolutely hideous) Don't do it. Black and white is one of the more bosser combos.

inglisleslie agreed i think im going to just pull off the end caps and black hurculiner the stock bumper until i want to throw down $230 for the RRC

Vanimal00000 To be honest, I'm not a fan. I'd go black or chrome. Chrome would probably look silly on a white vehicle though.

Bobthegod If bumper designers thought they could/would sell color matched bumpesr they would already offer them. They don't offer them cause they don't look good. Exception = Black TJ.

Yeah, those pics are a little tough to do much with.
Here's an idea..... get some white contact paper to use on the bumper (when ya get back to PA). If ya don't like it white, pull the contact paper off.

inglisleslie Sorry i moved to FL because i dont have a DL and my car is stuck back at home in PA. Those are the only pics I have of the Jeep. The bike is an old iron horse sgs dh based off of specialized FSR technology. This is the new bike I want...http://www.avalanchedownhillracing.com/bmwtmxlink.jpg

rday78 if by "ice cream truck" you mean pedophile-mobile.... id have to agree... Hey you could take it to the next level and get a nice big FREE CANDY sticker for it too.. lol Sorry couldnt help myself... Some of the older jeeps came with the side steps and fender flares in the same color as the jeep... didnt care for it tho.

HyperBuzzin Post up a better pic and I'll see what I can do with photoshopping the bumper white.

05GT-O.C.D. Doing just the middle section might look OK if you wanted to try something different. You could always spray back to black if you didn't like it.

billyb Start with a pic of an all black TJ and run it through a negative filter?
02-20-2010 02:08 PM
JimmyJazz I don't think it would look nice. It would look too much "plastic" in my opinion. But i think it would look cool on a more agressive bumper, like the rugged ridge RRC for example
02-20-2010 01:22 PM
Jerry Bransford It would look like an ice cream truck.

What would jeep with matching painted front bumper look like?

I have a white jeep and wanted to take my stock bumper, remove end caps, and herculiner it white and only leave the light hoop and front two tabs herculined black. Any body have any opinions or done anything remotely similar?
