89YJproject what can you do to lightin a yj?

Fweaky Reduce weight, make sure its tuned up with clean filters. If you have oversize tires optimize your gearing. Good unrestricted exhaust flow. Not too many cheap ways to make horsepower.

YLWNOR Thanks not looking to do an engine swap just looking for some extra hidden or bolt on power. Maybe smaller addons to start.

thechink09 intake restrictor(free mod) - Jeep Wrangler Forum

theres also this.

it all depends on how much you want to spend.

you could get a cold air intake, header, MSD ignition, shoot even better you could swap the engine out for a SBC 350, its all about how much money you wanna spend.

thechink09 some people put on a 4.0L throttle body and there are some other little things you can do with a little more power. but at the same time i have a 94 4.0L and it has trouble with hills and when its windy. sometimes when its windy and i hit a hill i have to shift to 4th gear to and i still can only go like 55ish... so i dont really know if you will be able to do anything about highway speeds and hills on the highway.

Little more power

I have a 4cyl 95 wrangler 4/4 automatic . When going up hills on the highways it seems to loose power near the top. How can I pick more power up to make the hills easier.
