andrew2456 I'v been in your shoes spend a little mor and get a new springs. Either 2-3 inch if you want it mild. Trust me even on a budget just do it the add a leaf barly got me back to stock. The way I think of it the suspension is everything without it you have nothing save money somewhere else.

Hilgy51 I had a local spring shop re-arc and add a leaf to my springs. The cost was pretty cheap and I put 2 In shackles and got about 3 inches of lift out of it. I run 31 In mud tires with no clearance problems at all. I could probably go with 33's

Lnewlf Good point...I should probably throw some front ones on too. I only changed the rear cause I busted one driving home from work(couldn't slip that one past the inspection station lol)

AzTJ Well, take into account that your springs are probably original, and have sagged quite a bit. Putting in an add-a-leaf may not net you all the lift you want. It'd probably be a lot better to get new stock springs or even new 2" lift springs. I know you said budget, but add-a-leafs tend to sag a lot faster.

Add a leaf lift kits...any good?

I was thinking of putting a BDS add a leaf(2") on along with a 1" body lift and throwing some 30 inch tires under my 94. How do you think this setup will affect driveability? This is just kind of a budget build, so I don't want to go full on with suspension lifts and all that. I just put brand new stock leafs in the back anyhow, and I don't really want to scrap them already; same with the body lift, the factory mounts are shot and need replaced so I may as well put the 1"ers in there.
