betdee Yeah, we stopped for them but they had us go ahead of them anyway. Then later while we were taking a break, they passed back by us again so we waited for awhile to be sure they had gotten ahead of us enough.

RatherBNarizona very nice!
Yeah just be careful around those horses, remember not to rev your engine or anything when near them. When we go out and bump into them we all just go still and let them pass

Thank you! We live in middle TN and these areas are near us in Summertown.

jgano23 great pics. always it's always good to "tread lightly." wheeling responsibly and interacting positively with the other nature lovers around you helps to keep the "sport" alive.

First trail runs in my TJ

Our first weekends out with our TJ we hunted for spots to challenge it (and us). We found a new subdivision with lots of steep hills and pretty valleys. Then we went out to a recreational area near us that's mostly for fishing and wild life type stuff. There were a few off road areas there. The next Sunday we found some off road ares the locals call "power line hills". The trails weaved through the trees, and had some pretty steep, loose areas to go up and down, near and around the power lines. The trails were fun and we'll be going back there to try some of the other areas as well. Only thing in this area is to watch out for horse back riders. They were pretty friendly and shared the area, so that was cool!
