Turbostixxx Frameless, I love it, and it's a safari top in the summer no need to own 2 tops!

I have the rampage sailcloth, oh how I love it

ninjaturtle0 Frameless.

I have Softtopper's frameless, super easy to remove and install and uses factory hardware, if you don't have that they will provide you with door surrounds, not as good as factory but they do what they are made to do.

Check them on youtube they show how easy it is.

josh542 not really sure why youd ned to take the frame styles all the way off haha just fold that thing back! and if its for maintenance/ work on jeep, its not like you do something that requires taking it off everyday. So i guess my vote goes to the classic! Frame style!

Tdog02 I like the frame style cause its what I've got and taking the four screws out is really no big deal. After the screws are out you can lift the whole thing off from the center bow and if you have a place to put it just set it down or use hooks and hang it from the garage ceiling by the header bar. Can't comment on the frameless tops, except to say I like the way they look.

12vtman I'm going to go against the norm and vote frame style. I've got a Rampage frameless and when the weather gets anywhere near cold its going to be near impossible to get it back on after going topless. WIth my framed top I found I ran topless more often, just easier to flip a few latches and fold it back.

BestTop NX with sun rider might be a nice compromise of frameless and easy access.

I wouldn't recommend doing the install if it's cold. It wasn't hard, just annoying to get the front windshield channel and door surrounds to fit properly on the top. I just picked it up in August so I can't speak for winter performance yet. I paid $370 for the top itself from Amazon (hell yeah trading in textbooks and buying Jeep parts), and $50 for the windshield channel from Quadratec.

Northern Gulf Rampage here too. Can go from full top to bikini in about 5 minutes, and the bikini will come off from that point in another 5. I can get it all back together in 15/20 minutes.

The Real Tink Another vote for frameless, The factory top can come completely off with only 4 screws removed. It is very cumbersome like that with the windows still attached but doable. I went with the Rampage top because it is the closest to the original Viking top. It Bestop had kept the window storage provision it would have been my 1st choice.

carlojp Frameless definitely. Also, get the sailcloth version and you'll be happy with the quality

Owen_TJ Frameless...

I run a Trektop NX and love it...isnt hard to install. First install takes about an hour or so but afte that you can do it in 15 min or so.

Running the Trektop NX, i rarely ever remove the whole thing, though. I'll normally just take the doors off, take the windows out, and then flip the sunrider. That way i still have a roof just in case something happens out of nowhere.

I like the trektop NX better than the rampage but the one thing i like about the rampage is the window storage thing...

dgerb1 The frameless. I'm currently running a Rampage Frameless Trail Top on my Tj. Zip the windows out, un-do 3 straps and the rest pulls off. Granted the windshield channel is still there, there is no requirement of tools.
