I wasn't sure on the grille at first either so I sprayed it with Plasti dip. I really like it black. Try it and if you don't like it you can always remove the plasti-dip, but I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

285/70/17 are 33's

Yah I like the color a lot did you paint the grill black?? I was thinking about doing that but I didn't know how I would like it ad I get confused with the tire size when it's written like that does 285 mean 33s or 35s

I don't see this color often either. One of the best IMO.

Not true about the ride. The ride is great. I think better or just as good as stock once you put it on. They are good shocks. I have had my lift on for 3 years and have no complaints.


BTW - I'm running 285/70/17 BFG AT's with this set up

Normaly, you relocate the stock lines or change to longer ones. With everything taken care of properly you could tackle an even bigger tire. Still pretty impressive however and I'm impressed with the travel you got with that set-up.

kcookuscg The Rough Country I mentioned comes with both shock and brake line extensions. I was just saying that if doing a spacer lift, like me, brand isn't that big of a deal. I have no problem with not having enough travel. I also mounted a front and rear bumper with a tire swing and haven't started sagging yet. When I can I plan on doing an actual suspension lift and the I will go with a more reputable brand than Rough Country.

Eh not totally true man. I was maxing out my brake lines without the brackets in the rear with my BB so in reality how much more do you need? The sacrifice is equal to the ground clearance you now have. And my shocks although aftermarket (rancho 7000's) are roughly the same extended and collapsed length as the stockers as i got the 0-2" ones. rubisteph Any spacer lift without longer shocks or at least shock extensions, is a waste of money due to the fact that it renders the suspension useless by robbing downward shock travel.

That Teraflex kit is complete and worth the money IMO. Unless you are building a mall crawler with no intention to use it off-road.

Rough Country 2.5" series 2 suspension lift. $179.00 if you get the series 1 you don't get the rear track bar relocation bracket( I didn't see that in the the reflex lift) but its only $139.00.
