PaulyNC91YJ Thanks scrambler, its a four cylinder. Im going to change the fluid in a couple of weeks when it gets a lil bit warmer.

scrambler1 Does your jeep have a four cylinder? if it does it has 4.10's
There should be a tag attached to one of the top cover bolts. If not look on your front they both have the same gearing.
If you need to know good time to change the fluid anyway. Remove the cover and the gearing will stamped into your ring gear.

Ring and Pinion

I was looking on my 91 YJ's rear axle and found the plate that is suppose to have the gear info. I did not see the gear on the plate. Is it coded or am I overlooking it? If anyone can tell me what to look for it would be a great help thanks in advance!
