Check out this HOSS (Hardtop Off Storage System or something clever like that) from Bestop. Not suggesting you should buy it instead (but it's always an option!), but it'll give you a good idea of how we thought your hard top should be stored.
Look at the installation guides for detailed drawings.

If you paid ten bucks for a hand wench, you paid too much - I take care of business with my hand wench, and it doesn't cost me a dime. I'm always in a better mood after also. Trying operating the hand wench with your left arm, it's like there is a stranger there with you.
Sorry I had too

|apo8307||I think i would be more concerned with the seals being flat for the whole time. i don't think it would warp the plastic of the top but it would or might cause leaks later due to the seals being pressed flat for that long. you can just get the wench that would lift it up and keep it near the ceiling of the garage. my freind made one using a 10.00 dollar hand wench and 2x2 wood and hooks the wood he made a big t with it and the hoos just turn to get under the top when he cranks it up he just leaves it up and out of the way. hope this helps|

Freedom Top storage question
All - I came across this idea for summer storage of a Freedom Top:
I like the simplicity and how tightly it would tuck my roof against the wall.
My question is around the weight being on the short sides of the roof - do you guys think this could make the roof prone to bending or warping as the temperatures heat up in a garage all summer, etc. ??
Thanks for any input.
