KawiTJ mine did that when i pulled out in first. the 4wd shifter linkage was shot. rebuild kits around ten bucks. you can tel if you crawl under it and move the lever from the underside of the jeep, if it rattles when you move it that'd be it

rattle noise in wrangler

just bought a wrangler. It makes a strange rattle noise in first gear. does any one know what it is?

Pics of mill creek and little sioux,Lived here almost 30 years and have never seen the lower river road under water.The dam at linn grove was rolling pretty hard yesterday.There is still crops in the field on some farms,I counted a dozen deer in them at 2 in the afternoon!
