I think you have answered the question.
If you are not going to do any real rock crawling and off-road use, I personally thing the Trac-loc is the best option available and basically inexpensive. I would not buy anything without it unless planning to install after market lockers. For a stocker, you will find that on moderate off-roading, you won't need to use 4 wheel much! It's a good thing and works great in my Sahara. Again, a personal thing!

TCS instead of POSI?

Contemplating purchase of 2010 Sahara, but, wondering if the electronic TCS would allow me to get away without equiping it with a posi rear end? Not intending any really hard core off roading. Canada, lots of snow, mud, sand, gravel, etc.

Cheap out and skip the posi, smart or dumb move?

Current pickup truck will get stuck on wet leaves when not in 4x4!
Should have got the posi on the pickup.
