Steve936 02 TJ, Barricade rear bumper w/tire swing...Have any of you guys running Barricade bumpers/tire swing done anything to address the spare tire bumpstops? I get some rattling that seems would be corrected with some bumpstop mods. It seems only the bottom bumpstop lines up perfectly. All I need is a hockey puck spacer or something to get that one to work. But the others don't line up with the spare tire carrier bars/arms. I was thinking to drill holes and mount the bumpstop/spacer onto the actual carrier. Any ideas? Thanks.

joeyzac45 Does anyone else have an issue with the spare tire carrier? That thing is a monster to swing open/close, and to latch it takes me multiple tries and heck of a lot of effort? Also quite a bit of rattle from right side that I can't seem to locate. I've checked for loose bolts any and everywhere and they're all tight.

Those lights look awesome in there! I love the square peg in the round hole. And the fact that you found some that are plug and play is cool.

I'm really glad your bumper go to you in perfect shape. The boxes have worked about better for shipping in that respect.

I'm always here if anyone has any questions or just wants to talk Jeeps!

I was actually really happy about receiving the box since I read all the posts that stated the issues others were having with shipping rash. I only wanted the "body bag" to see the reaction on my wife's face when it showed up on the doorstep, lol

No dings, dents, scrapes or blemishes that I could see on my brief inspection this morning. I can't wait to get it installed! Thank you Ryan for the fantastic deal and great quality products from Extreme Terrain! I'll be picking up a skid plate as soon as they're available, as well!

You're not pestering at all! It does look like the next order of those bumper won't be in until August. I wish I had an exact date for you! I don't know who told you they would be in this week, or if they just miscalculated how many we were getting vs how many back orders we had, but somehow you got some bad information. I'm very sorry about that!

If you need/want your bumper before that I can get you a price on something similar that we carry. Let me know!

I'm hoping to have you that bumper by the 13th! Worst case scenario you can call in on the 8th, if it hasn't shipped yet and have it delayed until you're back from Hawaii.

I wish I had a more concrete date for you but I'm still working on locking it down. I'll keep you posted!

Kolector, one thing I noticed is my crashbar had a solid metail piece welded to the sides, yours seems open. Did yours not have this or did you remoe it at some point?
Still no word on when the skid plates for the '10-'14 will be available. I am passing along the interested so I think it's being worked on, I just don't have a timeline on them yet. Hang in there!

Yes. Now that we know how popular the bumpers are we have place multiple orders with Barricade and we will be able to fill all back orders and have plenty of stock left.

Let me know if there are any other questions at all.

I FINALLY have some information for you guys about the Barricade Skid Plates. We tested the plate on our '07 and it fit. The bends didn't line up perfectly with the crash bar, but it did go on without any additional drilling or modifying.

Being that it mounts on the front of the frame rails you'll have to add some spacers to install your bumper (Barricade brand or otherwise) over the skid.

As far as we can tell the '07-'09 JK's have the same style crash bars so this plate will work with any of those. We will get the fitment changed on the website to reflect that. In either mid '09 or '10 Jeep changed the crash bar design.

This is why the plates don't work for all years. I'm not sure if Barricade is working on a design for the '10+ JK but I can't imagine why they wouldn't. Thank you guys for being patient while I gathered this info. I just wanted to make sure we were as thorough as possible so no one is getting the wrong parts. Let me know if you have any questions at all!
