|YJsavage||Heck yeah!! Moving to TN is a great idea. There's more wheeling places in TN and surrounding areas than anywhere on the right half of the country. Yeah, stick with 35's or 36's. 37's is you went all out with chromo's. Look up a few videos on Youtube next time you get a chance (shit creek, mountain city, callalente, windrock, Harlan... just for a start) You'll be packing your stuff to move like tomorrow!! LOL!!|

|nyvulcanman||Most of the trails around upstate ny is dirt mud and a few rocks but been thinkin of movin to tenn don't know what they have so I think I stick with 35's for now|

|YJsavage||It all depends on what terrain you run. If it's mud only, feel safe going with a 38. I run primarely slick rocks and use escessive amounts of skinny pedal so a 35 or 36 with a beadlock is about all mine can handle.|

With reasonable size tire, yes. That's more or less the same combo I'm running currently with my v8. I recommend upgrades to the front shafts. You don't have to go spending crazy with chromoly's and all. The old stock shafts are suprisisingly stong. Track down some new Spicer joints or go CTM. The 9" will be fine. I have yet to break a 31 spline shaft. When they say "Dana 60 strength", they're not kidding. Do check the gear casing third member. Pull it and check it out very well for cracks. What I do is just put in an order for a nodular third member from a company like Strange. Order it with your choice of gears and locker. They'll ship it to you already assembled. All you got to do is drop it in. The "N" case is a lot stronger than the stock.

front and rear axles
i have a chance to get axles out of a 79 ford half ton i believe it is a d44 front and a ford 9 in the rear how would these work for a 350 swap come this winter
