I like it. It fits pretty good and we like the zippered back. The only problem I had was the safari top slapping against it but a couple rows of self adhesive velcro cured that.

would you recommend this product: yes

Yup...going on 2 years now. I was actually about to start applying for hospital jobs but the director heard word I was thinking about leaving and hooked me up with a super sweet case load.....so I may have to stick around for awhile. Its pretty nice being on the road plus summer is almost here. There are a few days each week that I am done by 11am so I plan on driving to the beach and doing my charting while sitting back in the sun.

But since I do see alot of patients in the inner city I was trying to figure out even more ways to secure everything to I can drive around without the top or doors and not care. That cage would have been perfect for my huge nursing bag and tub of supplies.

Jp90Talon I like the netting idea as well but the only reason I like the Bestop cage is for security reason. Being that I work in a lot of inner cities visiting patients I kinda wanted something strong and lockable that I could store the more bulky items and not worry about them. The netting though nice wouldn't protect anything from someone walking by and the tuffy is just way too expensive. I think I saw it listed for >$600 plus shipping.

Thanks once again for the leads. Collins never ordered any and I am still keeping my fingers crossed for Gemini but haven't heard back from them yet.

I found one place online that has them FS on their site but I have a funny feeling that they are a drop shipper and don't actually stock a thing and just never updated their page. Place is called JBCC offroad but I'm not holding my breath.

If anyone else can come up with other places to try please feel free to suggest and thanks again!

Geoff@Bestop We had a product that flopped in the marketplace? Inconceivable!

There are none in stock, and we have no way to tell who might have them still.

Bigger retailers are better at cycling their inventory, so I doubt any of the big guys would have it. I'd try places like Collins Brothers, or Gemini Sales up in Vancouver. They tend to like having lots of stuff in back rooms.

Im looking at picking up a bestop extendatrunk pretty soon and I came accross an accessory for it called the Extendatrunk Cage. I really would like to find a place that sells it but Im pretty sure it was discontinued. I already PMd Geoff and he is going to ask around work tommorow but I figued I could post up here to see if anyone could find me a seller.
