|gardnr1||Thanks... Yeah I have a service manual. Always seems to slip my mind to check there first. So I did a bunch of reading and at least know where to start looking for any problems or the beginnings of future electrical nightmares. thanks|

The whole undercarriage is clean after changing the fluids and a new clutch and its been dry for seven days, even no rain. I was going to get under it today but I still dont know where to look.

good ole' chadwick, what a story.
so the 4x4 light comes on when you shift to reverse? did you check to make sure all the wiring has dried out and there is nothing near the electrical connections? (tree branch, etc)

|03 RUBI||Sorry I couldn't be more specific. Do you have a FSM? That would make things a lot easier. There used to be a guy on this forum who could provide a link to get one online. Use the "search" up by where you sign in to search for "FSM".|

|gardnr1||Thanks for the reply. I have had trouble pinpointing where exactly those connections are. Ill have to check them out. Of course I do feel better about my recent expidition into 4 ft of water.. I just read that epic thread about Chad in Texas.|

|03 RUBI||My guess is a wet and/or shorted connection at the diffs or transfer case.|

4x4 and e-brake light
I went through some deep water last week and got water EVERYWHERE!! After draining all the fluids except for the front dif. everything is back top normal except that when I put my 2004 TJ in rev the 4x4 light pops on. It doesnt come on when I engage 4H or L though. I would forget about it except its kind of annoying. Where is the problem?
