For Jeep I will go for after market wheels.
I'm not saying that mopar wheels are bad or good, just that I like more what after market wheel manufacturers are offering, Like Mickey Thompson, Pro Comp, Cragar, Moto Metal, Walker Evans, etc.........

|InfernoGirl||Check around and see if you can pick up a set somewhere other than the dealer.. Factory reproductions may make them too. Mopar wheels are good wheels, but not sure they're any "better" than any other wheel....|

|yj-genral||dont know anything about the mopar wheels BUT if you can drop the price of the jeep enough that you can upgrade with aftermarket wheels and tires then i would do that and sell off the factory rims.... you wont be messing with any warranties by trading wheels... thats all im saying.|

Mopar Rims? Good or Bad?
I'm trying to work out a deal with the dealership for an upgraded wheel and tire package on a new Unlimited Sahara. I'd rather 17" black rims and bigger, 32" tires over their stock package. However, the dealership isn't willing to do a "swap" and will only do the upgrade if I pay full price for it and get stuck with both my 5 upgraded wheels and tires as well as the 5 stock ones. The only other option is to upgrade to Mopar black rims with my custom build. I kinda had my heart set on some XD Series rims, but has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with Mopar rims? Thanks.
