i would go with the 2.5 in rough country lift and get 1.25 in body lift with 33/12.50 bfg m/t. pic is without body lift thats going on it 2marrow

thanks a lot for the replys guys
first off i need to make a correction my tires are not stock lol their 31x10 on 15" rims sorry about that i thought the jeep came with those wheels haha
and yea i do plan on doing some off roading at the ranch (a lot of mud ) but none of that crazy rock climbing stuff
im if im going to have to spend 700 to get a 4" lift i think im just gonna go with a 2" lift for now... its fine if i just get the spacers for the 2" lift right?

|logan04tj||There are a lot of lifts out there, but decide what you are gonna be using your jeep for the most, and decide on a lift that suits your needs. Some lifts will come with upgraded control arms, which you don't really need unless you go off roading a lot. Also, if you were to go with a 4" lift, I would personally recommend and SYE and new CV driveshaft which will cost you around 500 bucks, but you technically can do a 4" lift without, but just what I would suggest.|

A 4" lift requires quite a bit of alterations. Read through some of the lift threads here to get a grasp of what is required to lift your Jeep that much and have everything operate properly. The prices are expensive because you are changing a bunch of stuff that I have absolutely no clue about, but it sounds really complicated
Yes your stock tires will look very small with a 4" lift. Most here will also recommend that you drive your Jeep in it's stock form for a while to help you determine what you need to change to suit your needs. With some simpler mods you can get enough lift for 33" tires which is about all a D35 rear axle can handle without modding or upgrading it. 3-3.5" is recommended for 33's and you can get that with a 2-2.5" Budget boost and a 1-1.5" body lift.

New to the jeep scene.. need some advice
So i just got a 99 jeep wrangler. it is completely stock and the first thing i wanted to do is get a lift kit for it.
i wanted to get a 4" lift but i think the stock tires may look to small and i dont know exactly what to buy.
the guy a bought the jeep from sold me some rancho shocks that he never used so i have that already.
