|EdJonesJeeper||I bought a borla style of headers from ebay for $159 back in 2005 and haven't had any problems with them. I drive a preety good amount. They did put enough stress on my rear exhaust hanger to break it off next to the tail pipe so it kinda hangs and I need to get it re-welded.|

I bought the Rugged Ridge stainless headers for my jeep. It has a better design than the OE one and aftermarket ones on ebay. They take 3 into 1 and then 2 into 1.

|iluvfire||Cool, I have seen the flexpipe exhaust in a few catalogs. I am assuming the gains from any aftermarket header aren't worth the expense.|

Avoid both the Borla and Banks headers, they both still have the same tendency to crack as the original TJ headers did before Jeep redesigned them. Go find some headers on eBay that have flexible steel bellows on both sides which look like tiny accordian joints.
Frankly, I'm amazed that neither Banks nor Borla have redesigned their headers to fix the crack problem. Jeep redesigned theirs in '99 and similar design headers have been for sale on eBay etc. for years now.

Headers for 99 TJ
I have the classic crack in my stock exhaust manifold on my 99 TJ 6 cyl. I am looking at the Borla or Banks headers and cat back. Anyone running with these? Any thoughts? Is it worth the $$?
