thaduke2003 I mean, do you want more flex for rocks, more power to get up and go on the highway, or what? Wheel it and drive it a while, and see what you need before you sink $$$ into it- Mark W.

Melonbob As far as what I plan on doing with it, as I said in the original post, it will be a daily driver, and hopefully a bit of playing off road if I can hook up with a local gang to play with. Primarily booting around town though

Melonbob I will be posting as soon as I can! The vehicle was bought and is being shipped here for me, so I don't even have it yet! lol! But I'm out of the bush on tuesday, and I should have it by then. For now, heres the one pic I have of it....

JDsDream The first thing I would do is to take it out to play. Get a feel for it and what it can do as is. Is your "Jeep" going to be on road only or are you planning on wheeling it off road? Do a little research, this forum is a great place to start. There is a thread on "mods you regret" that is also a great source of wisdom.

OH and post some pics.

The best thing to do is to take pics of it to share with us. Then just drive it around and enjoy it. I picked mine up a couple of days ago. I already have the itch to mod it, I just don't have the $$ to scratch that itch.
Looking at this picture...it needs: lift, black wheels, bigger tires, soft top, different bumpers,.........

The list is endless.

thaduke2003 Intake and exhaust make a LITTLE difference. Instead of just throwing parts at it, however, what are you trying to achieve?
Are you looking to improve performance on-road only? Or what?

I'll recommend two things to ANY driver- Superchips programmer- improved performance (a bit) and improved fuel economy (1-2 MPG for most). Also, a good, sturdy set of diff covers if you plan to wheel it. Beyond that, it totally depends on what you plan to do- Mark W.

Melonbob It has stock MT 255's, but they still have about 2/3 tread on them, so I probably won't do a lift until I wear em down a bit more. Does intake/exhaust make any difference?

Vanimal00000 maybe a 2" BB (budget boost) and some 33's, unless it's done already.

New Rubicon....what to do first

So we just picked up our first jeep, an 08 Rubicon Unlimited. Now I'm wondering what the first thing I wanna do to this baby will be. Any advice? The truck will be our daily driver, so a little extra oomph would be nice, and we are hoping to find a local jeep club for a little playtime.
