snwchris Is it leaking from the Pinoin Yoke or from the Diff Cover where the bolts are???? or out the plug area???

whitebuffalo if its not weeping from the hole but leaking from the where the cover seals, remove the diff cover. clean it off. apply a thin bead of rtv all the way around the cover, reinstall, and refill.

03 RUBI Jeeps don't have a 3rd member per say as they're one piece. If you're talking about the center section, or pumpkin, it could be leaking from the cover or the pinion seal. Some "weeping" OK but keep an eye on it. Actual dripping or a pool of lube on the ground isn't a good thing.

3rd Member Front Axle Leak

I have a small leak in the 3rd member of my front axle. I am not too familiar with anything like that so my question is what is the need in getting it looked at? Is this a big deal?
