|debruins||always go with another vehicle, and have all the towing necessities, along with medical/food necessities in case something happens and you should be good. If you dont have a friend that knows a lot about off roading I would suggest finding a club near you and going with them. They will spot you well and know the limitations of your jeep.|

The most important thing you need is tow points front and rear.. you need to be able to get pulled out in either direction.
The second most important thing you'll need are competent spotters. Someone who knows the limitations of a Jeep, and ow your Jeep is set up.
I would like to see you have a tow strap, a fire extinguisher, a flash light, and a first aid kit. The rest are luxury's.. CB (Very important later trust me), and a winch (also very important later)
Not sure about how well the 35 will hold up, but as stated above.. stay off of the Skinny pedal if you are in a precarious situation....

|Jeepzcb09||well 33's with 3.07 can be pretty sluggish. And im sure your rear axle is a Dana 35. If it has a plastic fill pug and has a round carrier its a D35,and if it has a metal fill plug and is hexagon shape its a D44. The D35 is week especially with 33's, i have a D35 but ive been serching for a Ford 8.8 or D44 to swap in. A regear, axle swap(if D35), and i say your ok for easy/moderate trails. But you can wheel your d35(i do) just take it easy on the gas pedal and dont beat the piss out of it and you should be fine|

First Jeep Questions
So I just bought a used Jeep Wrangler X (2003) with 86000 miles. It has 33' BF Goodwench ATs and a 3 inch lift. I got a build sheet from Jeep and it has 3.07 gears and a Dana 30/186MM Front axle and a 175mm rear axle. I guess the rear is not a Dana cause it didnt say it was. I am wondering if this thing is off road ready or if there may be some things i need to install first or things i need to be aware of. Thanks for any help.
