motokeen Just an update. The liner is still holding up decent. The first few scratches was it. The spot where my feet rub has worn a bit but I plan to scuff it up some more and touch it up. I will post pics when I clean the rest of the mudd out.

jp'rs_peep'rs Lol!
I just experienced Rust-Oleum's bed liner spray and Rust convert stuff this week. Stripped my front bumper and all associated parts this week and sprayed them per the directions.

Absolute crap!
Sent a message to the company and they agreed to send a refund.
Went and purchased Duplicolor/kote bed liner and it wasn't much better.

When I do my inside of "Silver" it will be a better brand/product.

motokeen Ok so I had a chance to really abuse the finnish. I had tons of stuff in the back and did some brutal off roading. I will have to say next year I will be buying the rhino linner kit. It held up ok but there was some spots that scratched threw the linner and the paint. The real deal is needed for the abuse I put on my jeep. Hind site is 20/20. If you don't do anything to crazy it would be an ok way to go and easy to touch up and cover things up. Case closed on spray in bed linner for me.

motokeen I'll keep you gusy updated on how it holds up. I used scotch brite pads to scuff the clear coat so it would stick. I didn't go crazy and sand down to the paint so well see what happens. Thanks for the feedback.

RoSs Yea that looks really good man. I have been wanting to do mine. I think I may save some money and do Line X though. I would be to afraid the spray on or roll on stuff would chip or scratch easily. Let me know how it holds up. I may take that route. But it looks good

Jeepzcb09 I just did my inside with Herculinar, it turned out great!! I use that Rust-o-luem rubberized spray on my frame, and it works good, never thought it would look good inside, nice work

motokeen Well see how it holds up. I have already noticed that the texture makes everything stick to it. Seems fairly durable so far. I think you could still nick threw it without a ton of force. I have about 50 dollars in it so I guess It will work for now.

mrcarcrazy looks pretty good.

And since it doesn't see as much sun as a truck bed it should be fine.

motokeen I used 4 cans and still have a few spots that look splotchy. It will have to do for now. I have to put it back together for this weekend. Heres a few pics from my cell.

JDetlefsen I did mine in the rustoleum spray (just the front and back floorboards. It looks good but is kinda "sandpaperish" dont skin your knee on that stuff! I have my quadratec rubber floor mats over it. overall im satisfied

nater344 I herculined my tub three years ago and it still looks brand new. It is very inexpensive ($80 on sale) to do, but is labor intensive.

mrcarcrazy Its really hard to compare DIY to Rhino/LineX as they cost 5-10x the price.

I've been reading a lot, and one that is jumping out at me as a heck of a product is "monstaliner". Its a roll on, can be sprayed if you like, but they sell a roll on setup. I was going to do the U Pol Raptor, but the more I read about this monstaliner, the more I'm leaning towards it, to me it is the closest in appearance/durability I can get to Rhino/LineX. With the cost of UPOL/Herculiner.

That rattle can stuff you are using isn't all that great. My dad used it on my Ranchero after I gave it to him. it faded, and didn't look too hot IMO. Its probably the least durable that I've seen.

KawiTJ I used rubberized undercoating, Like 6 cans. Its not as good as ryno lining, but Its better then the roll on bed liner I used the first tim in my opinion. Ryno lining is the way to go if you can afford it... But i like the $50 I spent to do it myself

ankyle62 the rustoleum sprays on like sand paper, it's grippy, but doesnt have the rubbery texture i was going for. i may roll on some stuff where my dog will be.

motokeen
I started a spray in bed liner in my jeep.

I thought it would be easier to use the rattle can method but I wish I would have got the rhino linner instead of the rustolem spay in. I thought it would be way cheaper and easier to use the spray. It is easier to get in tight spots but doesn't leave as good of a finnish. The other problem is if you get even a littler to close it will run. I thought 3 cans would be enough, but its not as nice as I can accept so I will get one more and sand down the few runs and touch up some spots. I will post pics when I finnish.
