thaduke2003 The difference is NEGLIGIBLE. Save your $, and keep your shocks under warranty. The only real improvement would be from going to a GOOD aftermarket shock. Although red makes things faster, and the Rubi shocks ARE slightly better, the difference, as I said, is minute. If they're free or under $50 shipped, MAYBE it's worth it. Otherwise, save the $- Mark W.

Bryans2000TJ Thanks for the info. I have the tow package, not sure if that is an upgrade in shocks on the Sahara or not. It's my DD so not sure I want to give a lot up in the way of comfort on my ride and I don't wheel near as hard as some do.

plac From the reading I have done, Rubi's are mono tube. Sahara and below are twin tube. Sahara and below are black, Rubi's are red. Rubi shocks will NOT be as smooth and forgiving a ride around town as your standard shocks. Yet they will be better for offroading.

Stock Sahara stocks vs Rubi Shocks

Looking at and thinking about replacing my 10 Sahara shocks with Rubi take-offs. Pros and Cons? Will I gain anything? What would I lose in ride? TIA
