JK with 33" MT MTZ's without lift
Here are some pics of my 07 with 33" MT MTZ's with the stock suspension and 1 1/4" spacers before I installed the Skyjacker 5" lift. I got a lot of compliments prior to installing the lift.

As of right now, a 5.5" Lift, 37" BFG Red Dot Krawlers, aFe Intake system, Walker evans Bead Lock wheels. I have my Shrockworks sliders, and the bumper will be here next week. Absolute Offroad is now a Shrockworks dealer, so give us a call!!! (Sorry, shameless plug ) I think thats it right now, Oh yeah, driveshafts and yoke conversions. Now thats it. If I forgot anything, 1BLKJP will remind me!!!!

My wife keeps trying to talk me into trading my TJ for a 4 door JK. If it wasn't for $$ I might would do it.

|bluvikng||That JK is looking pretty tough, Joe. The stance on that thing is awesome. That ought to be one stable mule, on the trail. I saw a 4 door model, at Katemcy, with 37" tires, and it looked like it was on regular tires. Those JK's really accept large tires, well.|

And actually if you see this rig in person the fenders actually look great. The Walkers have 3.75" of backspacing and they will stuff up in the flenders nice. The flenders are designed to bend and not break like a TJ's will. On top of that all of the aftermarket fenders right now look like junk in my opinion.

YUP. Glad you asked. RK will be offering a rear shock relocation bracket that lets you cut 2.5" off the lower part of that bracket. I DO have some on the way, but I dont think that it will be done for the intro of the kit @ EJS. They appear to hang down ALOT more than the TJ's but to cure the common problem of the TJ shock hitting the spring cup, this is how they fixed it. They really are only about 1.5" lower. Its like the fender thing. If you measure how wide the metal part of the TJ fender is WITH THE FLARE, its only about 1" narrower than the JK's. There id no difference between the two surfaces, so they just LOOK huge.

No, I decided against the PJ bumper for a few reasons. One of them is It was the first one that I saw when I bought the Jeep, then I saw the Shrockworks bumper!!!! Damn, thats one bad a$$ bumper design. The second reason is that I tried calling PJ 6 times and never got a call back. I was planning on being a dealer for them, but I have a BIG problem when as a dealer, you cant get "support". I got ahold of Jim @ Shrockworks the FIRST time I called him, He answered ALL of my questions on his products, so guess what..... I am now a SHROCKWORKS DEALER!! Great product, great people to deal with, and I am proud to be a dealer......

One of the guys I wheel with sold his 99 TJ, and got a 4 door JK. He had the lift kit ordered before he even had it home.
He installed 35's on it, and it looks sweet.

it just looks funny for some reason... don't see tomany ppl running new JK's up here, let alone one that has been lifted. GUess I'm just not used to it yet.

Yeah that girl is definitely fat in the hips. They will be big stable rigs. It definitely came out exactly how we all hoped it would. I think Joe's wife Lisa was the happiest of all. She can't wait to drive it to work and showoff her fat girl to everyone.
The fenders actually look pretty damn good on there. I wasn't sure when we started today how they would look. I was definitely surprised.

Nope, I highly doubt it. I actually really like the front fenders, but the bumper will be gone next week...... It DOES clear 37's though!!! This is going to be one of the best kits out for the JK. Easy to install and very complete. I like!!
