chef1231 I work at a dealership and last year we took a white sport unlimited and painted the hardtop and the fender flares white to match. The sanded down both a bit and then just painted them. We had it done at a little body shop by our dealership. It can be done not sure at what cost. Jeep looked good when we were done, a bit like a giant milk truck but still good.

jaeger24 A good body shop can paint them, only thing is I think that the rescue green was a short run color meaning they only used it for a couple of years. the body shop might have to try to color match and it may not be exact. good luck

PTaylor Can you take them to a auto repair shop and get a quote on just painting the flares? It can't possibly be that much. I've seen some places advertise painting a whole car for a few hundred dollars, so a couple of flares shouldn't be that much. even if it's cheaper paint, it'll be better than doing it yourself.

AfterMath I own a Sahara and I want to caution you on one thing. If not painted properly, the fender flares with bubble and the paint will chip away.

Rescue Green Painted Fender Flares

Does anyone know where to purchase rescue green painted fender flares? I've done a little research, but haven't found anything useful. I looked in the "For Sale" forum, but didn't see anything. I've looked at aftermarket parts online, but I can only find the Bushwacker pocket style, and I can't really drop about $1000 on these. Does anyone know where you can buy aftermarket (or directly from Jeep) the factory painted version? I'd think they must make these because they put them on the Saharas, but I can't find anything. Alternatively, has anyone ever tried to paint their black fender flares themselves?

Thanks for any advice.
