95riogrande I just used a impact to remove the top 2 bolts when I installed my tow hooks. came out like butter. I find that the head of the bolt is stressed more with a breaker bar but to each his own. spraying them with penetrating oil will help

Snuffy115 A torch and an impact wrench work great.

Abomination93 a really BIG breaker bar...i think i used a 4' breaker bar, ok it was a 4' cheater on a short breaker bar.

i have one side bolted in and the other side welded in on my current bumper as the drill bit we were using got a bit too hot and dull.

Structural Steel I-beams work great as bumpers, no one who sees it wants to meet it up close and personal, but i really want to show someone what she can do.

whiteyj All the above and then go low and slow. Torx is such a crappy drive connection.

distortedtj Spray the bolts good with PB blaster or other good penetrating lubricant,, spray them again about 10 minutes later and let it sit for a while to work.

Go have dinner, or such....when your done...remove the bolts.

WD-40 is NOT a penetrating lube. Or a substitute for one.

turdhurdler Maybe some penetrating oil on the torx bolts before trying to remove. Besides that, it is a straight forward removal. Two bolts on the tob and bottom is all that holds it on. Good luck.
