distortedtj Awesome bud, Will let you know if they continue to expand.

Andy R I made some changes. It will take a little while for them to take effect. Please let me know if these continue or if they stop. Basically I am trying to figure out who is serving these. Google AdSense now works with 80+ ad networks so it's tough to figure out who is serving these.

those have been driving me nuts. the ford and lincoln ads do it. i have a little screen too so i accidentally mouse over it and go to click on "new posts" and boom i end up clicking it, and it take me to another page. i don't mind the ad for the most part, but those got me so frustrated, i installed an ad blocker plug in for firefox. i have been using foof for 3 days and haven't had an annoying ad since.

TheTJRod Another good firefox addon is NoScript. Allows you to selectively allow scripts based on website address. So you can dissallow ad sites and allow wranglerforum.com and your work site.

JeepCreeper I have had an ad (seems to always be a Built Ford Tough ad) that will lock up the loading of the page for a good minute or two. I've tried the refresh page button repeatedly, which sometimes works around the tenth time. Or disable javascript and its not a problem, but then other sites (like my work's web-based time input) won't work.

Andy R Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you see if you can find out if this is a Google Ad? If not, there is only one other ad network we use and I can contact them about not showing expandable ads like that.

stevens243 Ad Block plus for Firefox...

Or, you could just quit mousing around...

distortedtj Been done and have firefox.

Banner ad under the tool bar stays there always has.

Sf_Kilo First make sure you remove the extra adds via http://www.wranglerforum.com/profile.php?do=editoptions since you are a supporting member......
Then I would recommend using Firefox as I have never seen an add get bigger just by mousing over it....

Ageless Stranger Oh, I see.

distortedtj ^^^ found it does the same for me but my 14'' screen laptop, I have to go all the way to the side of the page to get it to go away. The ad really covers most of my screen when it pops up.

boo.

Ageless Stranger When I mouse over it it gets bigger, but I don't have to close it. After I move the mouse it goes away.

ANNOYING banner ad's....

Simply annoying. There has been a ford taurus or ford f150 banner add at the top quite a bit lately. Everytime I role over it the ad increases to 3/4 of my screen, and I have to close it. Problem with this is..I use the "new post" quite a bit, then move my curser down to click on threads. EVERY TIME I have to close the annoying pop up ad.

Is there anyway to set them to not increase in size or just move it to the bottom of the page.
