One of the easiest ways is to go and get one of these kits. Install it once and you have it forever, the nice thing is with a flush like this you are flushing the entire cooling system, and heater core. Always a good idea to remove your thermostat before the flush and put a new one in after you are done, for the few extra bucks it is easy to do and you know you will have a good thermostat with new coolant.

|doclouie||Remove the thermostat from the coolant system and then remove both of the upper and lower radiator hoses. Flush it with water from your hose backwards, especially through the radiator or you will clog it up. It is also a good time to replace the thermostat and check all the hoses. It is pretty straight forward in flushing the system.|

im really not sure how to do a COMPLETE coolant flush. what i did was take the reservoir off completely and clean it out really with some purple stuff from home depot(mine was stained and i got it looking new) i drained it using that lower radiator drain deal then filled it with water and turned jeep on and made it get hot( i also turned on the heater to get that fluid in there out) then i drained it again warm. then i filled it up with fresh stuff.
btw i just noticed you live in middleburg too.

So I was hoping to do a full coolant flush on my 98 TJ. I picked up some radiator flush and antifreeze with hopes a a quick but full flush cause my recovery tank ispretty dirty. Haynes book say to drain radiator by the drain fitting at the bottom of the radiator....fond that. It also reads to drain the engine by the 2 drain plugs on the driver side of the block.... cant find those to at all. Even if I could find those drain plus I doubt I have room to use them. So my question is this, what does everyone do to perform a full flush. Some step by steps would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
