zerokoo149 I got an aftermarket soundbar and had to do the wiring myself. It really only took about 30 mins with everything in the jeep being so open.

erickpl My 97 SE didn't have squat, just like Jerry mentioned. I used that as an opportunity to use quality speaker wire.

Jerry Bransford Unless your '97 came with a factory rear sound bar, there is no rear speaker wiring at all. You'll have to add it all the way from the rear of the radio to the sound bar.

nick50471 My 97 has a white molex style connector on the drivers side of the bar tucked under the fabric. Pull apart the velcro fabric that wraps around the bar and the connector is underneath.

Flameeater I dont know how much help I can be here but I will try. I just put a sound bar on my rig. It had a pigtail on it as if it needed a plug but there was no wiring on my roll cage at all. Apparently some jeeps had them some didnt. If there is not a harness going up the drivers side of your cage then you will have to run wires yourself.

97 Wrangler Sound Bar Questions??

Hey guys,
I just went out and bought a sound bar with polk audio speakers in it. Based off of what I see you plug both the speakers and dome light in with that wiring harness that is built into the sound bar... How do I know if this will work with my jeep?? I have the pre-drilled holes in my roll cage but I cant find the male end to the wiring harness. It's a 97 wrangler sport. Please Help me with this install! Thank you!
