They'll fit fine on stock 5.xx" backspace rims. 4" backspace (on an 8" rim) on a stock height vehicle looks stupid, and with the tires hanging out of the flares it throws crap everywhere.

They'll fit. You'll probably want at least a wheel with 4" BS cause you could rub a little.

saras never thought of that. thanks. you probobly saved me a lot of grief

InfernoGirl Should fit, but you'll likely have to do some grinding on the calipers to fit 15" wheels on a JK, iirc.

saras I was wondering if 33x9.5x15 will fit on stock jk rubi

InfernoGirl ^^^^ Yep, narrower tires are better in deep doodoo like snow and mud, wider for sand. But 1" won't make that much difference. Narrower will be lighter, so less damaging to mpgs. But there again, not enough difference to be noticeable probably.

TjTheo thinner tires are better in deep snow
i allways liked the lookof the wider ones though
one inch shouldnt make much of a difference

Tire width?

I am wondering if there is any difference in performance between 9.5 " wide tires and 10.5" tires?
