blaster199 Alright that sounds good. I'll give him a call tomorrow

thaduke2003 There are cheaper skids, but not better for the money, in my opinion- Mark W.

blaster199 K how do the RRs run price wise compared to the rest?
05-20-2010 12:43 PM
thaduke2003 Yep- as I said, he's a good guy- he's almost always busy, but he'll answer your questions- Mark W.

blaster199 Sounds good. Im guessing kenny is the owner?

thaduke2003 No, because Kenny won't sell out to the big name stores. His site isn't useless. Call him up and talk to him. He's a good guy- he'll take care of you- Mark W.

iamagolfspaz I have the Rock Hard Oil Pan skid. Seems to do the job very well.

gotrailin It should hold but its can pita when it comes time to clean the mud. Also look into the clearance with the exhaust and driveline.. It very close and you'll have to add a couple more washers to maintain some kind of clearance. I'm have vibrations because I managed to bend the crossmember too.. So now am looking to modify that and get new skids..

blaster199 How did it hold up till then? Would you say it can withstand normal offroading light rocks mud etc without the heavy rocks/climbing?

gotrailin Have the skidrow tramission skid. I've managed to bend it in Drummond Island and Rock and Valleys ORV park such that I've started to get vibration at certain RPMs.. So now am planning on taking it out and going for something more beefier.. Might have a friend fabricate something for me..

Skids!

Looking for some serious under body protection. Been looking around and it looks like an oil pan skid, evap can skid, and a front skid combined will do the trick. What do you guys think? Anybody have any skids that really do the trick (brands etc)

Thanks
