I think I read it has 3 settings. And seen a few threads here about how to turn it all off.

Get the hard top and buy the soft later or have em throw it in for whatever $ you work out. The factory Hard top manufacturer for the hardtops that come stock are/were in a big lawsuit and the hardtops will be more rare = more $$. thats at least the rumors buzzing down in sofla which my dealer confirmed.
As far as the TCS im pretty sure if you click it once it will toggle btwn on and off. But it wont be fully off. you have to press the tcs button for like 5 secs and then it will be fully off. Im pretty sure thats how it works, cant remember tho. Dont have my jeep near me at the moment so cant check just yet

Sure I have power windows in my 2008 Sahara. I open both windows and use a 9 iron to adjust the passenger mirror.

|chef1231||go to mopar.com and click on Jeep. Then it will pull up the lists. I just ordered all my stuff. The mopar bucks is what is going on right now no matter what you pay for the Jeep. They are not giving you anything extra there, just a rebate of sorts. I they are tossing in a free soft top then that is pretty good. Just make sure you get the sunrider one.|

Well dealer #1 said they have an extra soft top in the shop they will throw in.
If not they include a $500 mopar jeep card,,, maybe I can use that for a top at cost.
BTW,,, where is this jeep mopar store so I can see what I could buy with the $500?

I doubt seriously that you will ever notice the lack of the LSD. In normal road situations, the TCS will take care of any traction issues.
As for the top, try to get the dealer to include a good deal on the soft top to close the deal. Failing that, there are a lot of good aftermarket soft tops available. Running with the top folded down is a big part of the joy of Wranglers.

|CapptainObvious||If I had a place to store the hard top, I would have gotten the dual top group or a hard top, and then some sort of aftermarket soft top. Maybe a bikini top or a modified soft top. Look into those before making your decision. However, I had to get the soft top because I don't have anywhere to store a hard top. You'll definitely regret it if you don't have some sort of soft top for the summer though.|

Thanks Guys! I didnt want to mess with the mirrors too much and bust them with my hamhocks,,, but thats ok.
As long as I can turn off all the traction nannies I will be fine with that. But ya, dont wanna flipp it either.
So thats pretty much all my questions.
A stick is out of the equation,,,, Last 2 rides were sticks ( EvoVIII , and the 335i ) Im done shifting for a while. AND I LOVE IT !!!!!!
So I guess if I want my power fixx , it will be on my zx-14,,, which I can really only use 30% of that anyways, without death or jail breathing down my neck!
Keep you all posted. I might try to see if dealer #2 will let me have one over night. Maybe one with a soft top and the rubi tires and rimms. Just too see how that is to drive on the streets. I guess its the Tikki man taking a dump one,, or the mountian one.
But those decals will be off before it leaves the dealership, thats for sure... if I were to buy one.
Time to get back in the Jeep !!!!!!!
O, if somone can touch on the LSD that would be great. No trails in my area,, so pretty much all street. If I had any sort of trails in my area,, no question it would be a Rubbi from the get go. That off roading looks right up my alley!

|kik||Nice color Sport. If you want more control of the power curve consider a 6 spd. You should test drive one and then do your own comparison. Either on or off and what was said, no power mirrors.|

Testing a Wrangler sport and ?'s
So i got a blue hard top with auto out testing for a few hours. I really like the stance of the Jeep. But I has wanting a soft top, for putting up and down when ever I like. But this hard top is really sweet. Dark tint all around. Gives it a denfender 90 look!
I can really see myself in this rig! Nice truck like ride, not nosiey, killer AC! OMG my arms are still about frozen.
First question, it dosnt have the lsd rear end. Just how important is this in 2wd on the streets? I dont see this Jeep havning any kind of power to really use, as such a sprts car would.
Second, it has the power package, but does it have power mirrors. I cant locate the controls?
Lets see , other than that. I have 3 dealers after my business. And they all are very hungry for it.
I feel like Im in a shark tank, and they all want me.
o ya, next is the traction control button. Is it all on, or all off?
I think I read that it has 3 modes to it, all on, half on and all off. But I could only get it to turn on or off on the dash.
I hope it has an all off as doing cookies in the snow is rather fun! And this is where the lsd in the rear might be more practical.
Thanks all,, if it all goes well I might have a new wrangler in the garage this weekend! Just have to find the right color and options. And of course , price sells. And Im doing pretty good on that front.
