|Jeep Lady||Hi y'all. I am a proud owner of a 94 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Edition. Her name is Sarah Sahara. : ) I am a pretty good sewer and would like to find a pattern to make covers for my jeep. She is a YJ series. I have made a wedding dress, (mine) and quite a number of evening gowns, and even a man's 3 piece suit from velvet. So I would like to try and make my own seat cover instead of spending any more money on covers that do not fit... thanks for your help. Jeep Lady|

TJ Seat Covers
Hi, I saw your seat covers! Do you share your pattern? My husband has been asking me to make some for our two jeeps, but without a pattern, I don't know where to start!

Yes Amy, my first set was paisley and all the guys gave me crap about them... They match the Jeep really well tho'...
Thanks for the kind words. I like the giraffe the best so far... I have a great tiger stripe I want to make, but right now I can't find the fabric....
Here's a pic of the paisley..

|amy||IG, those look fantastic! I didn't know if I'd like the Giraffe but I like it even better than the zebra ones. What's wrong with paisley, though? Did you make some with paisley that I missed?|

Post up a pic of them if you don't mind V8, I've not seen them to know if they are shaped differently from the cloth.

|InfernoGirl||I am interested in making them available for sale. I have to set up an account here for commercial status, or somesuch, I forget what it is right now. Currently I only have a pattern for 97-02's with cloth seats. I am trying to get a hold of some 03+ seats to make patterns from. Once I get things worked out, I'll let you all know! Thanks for the compliments and interest!|

|Ageless Stranger||Nice! How many sets do you have now?|
|05-24-2010 08:30 PM|
Ok, boys and girls, here's the only shot I got today of the giraffe print ones...
|05-24-2010 02:03 PM|
Those look pretty good. better than the original IMO.
JP90Talon, you know there are options out there that meet your requirements right?

|InfernoGirl||As soon as I can find someone willing to let me have access to their Jeep for a few days, I will get a pattern made for the '03-'06 TJ's, and then I will definitely let you know that I have it available. Thanks! I may just have to find some seats to buy, but then I'll just have to sell them... That's kinda my last resort.|

|jgano23||so um......could you make a set for the 2003-2006 style seats? i think i know someone super interested in that purchase|
|05-24-2010 07:24 AM|
|InfernoGirl||All but the last ones are poly fleece with Sunbrella outdoor fabric for the insets. The latest are all fleece. It fits like a dream, nothing will hurt it, (well fire would be bad, I suppose )and it is fade resistant. It can be sprayed to make it waterproof, and is easily washable. I'm curious to see how hot the all fleece ones are. I was initially discouraged from making them with fleece inserts since hubby was convinced they'd be hot. But I decided to try them anyway.... (I'm bad like that..) It's supposed to get in the 90's this week and the humidity level is up, so I'll get a chance to find out how they work.|

|05-23-2010 10:47 PM|
LOL, Baja, if I could find the fabric, I'd be all over that!
The next set is done and looks even better.... Pics when hubby comes home with the camera....
