hannahuffster Call Quadratec for the correct application (to make sure you get the correct one the first time). You may need a slide hammer to get the hub assembly off the steering knuckle without separating the barrings sometimes they can be a booger & they are expensive (about 120$ give or take for a decent one).

front passenger, u joint

hi all, I think I have diagnosed a repeated, speed depending clicking noise to front passenger u joint. never did this before, have a couple questions.

how long can I drive it with a in need replacement? Can I drive on it another 3 weeks until I have some time off to deal with it?

second, will this work for my 93?:

Original Replacement Parts 8136616 - Front Axle 260X Series U-Joint Assembly for 76-86 Jeep® CJ & 87-94 Jeep® Wrangler YJ Front Axle - Quadratec

don't need anything for wheeling, just a cheep fix to get her on the road.

I have hammer, needle nose pliers, vice that opens to 8 inch mouth, and sockets. Anything else I need other than that part listed above?

lastly, I think I have to take the drive shaft out do to that correct?

thanks in advance,
