Samsrubicon i have the steel wheels, they r backspaced 4.5" but they just dont stick out far enough lol. i will not do the spacers, ill take saftey over looks, guess ill just save up for thinner fender flares. my stock rubi flares are 6" right? and stock sport flares are....?

InfernoGirl IF you decide to get them you want spacers, not adapters. Adapters allow you to use a different bolt pattern than the one on your vehicle. Spacers just alter the backspacing. As mentioned above, you must check the torque on them (spacers and wheels) religiously (monthly). Don't cheap out on them. Lots of folks sell quality (spidertrax) spacers all the time when they upgrade to new wheels, so keep an eye on the for sale section and CL etc, and you'll find some. But, cheap steel wheels only run about $100 more than spacers, you can do wheels and be done....

530ktm It is my understanding that wheel spacers are not the safest things to use. I was going to get some and several people talked me out of them.

Geoff@Bestop I've never priced out, nor compared wheel spacers, so this is a purely hypothetical comment: That's a really bad place to try and save a few bucks.
