619random You should paint the door panel black to match the center console, I think it would look cool :P.

By writing bump...haha. Just trying to get the issue to resolve. the closer to the top the topic is, the higher chance it gets answered.

what are you trying to paint anyway? the door panel? if so maybe paint it the dark grey thats on the center of the dash, itll be easier to match
I considered that, but decided it would look out of place since that and the vent's are the only pieces that are that color.

AfterMath Ah...good point Inferno.

I figured my color has changed a little...but the difference is pretty drastic. I wouldn't think the color would darken that much...(including an even darkening on my seat vinyl, carpet, etc.

I shall do as you suggest!! Thanks!

InfernoGirl Take off the glove box door or the top of the console. Take it to an "actual" paint store, Sherwin Williams, Porter, Benjamin Moore... they can match it for you and put it in a spray bomb....

Part of the reason it isn't matching may be due to weathering.... Colors do fade over time, especially when exposed to the elements.

Dash Color 98 TJ

Hey everyone. Got really frustrated last night, mostly with my local Jeep dealer.

According to my dealer, the stock dashboard color on my 98 Sahara is matched with a Light Buckskin color made by a local company (Wellworth Paint Products).

Anyways, the color isn't completely correct. I was wondering if anyone has any idea where I could get the Stock Dashboard color in spray paint form...picture below show the color.
