silvrevo New ones always start too,,,

Just like all those damn car ads on TV.

Last sale ever,,, Final Days,,, Never seen before pricing,,,,

Then next week is a repeat,,, next Month,,, next quarter,,,next year.....

Timing is also a key,,, when your ready to pull the trigger.

I have got a free tv and a free cruise vacation package before....

zerokoo149 It was only for new cars, but the incentive has been over for a while now.

fandango777 if im buying a used 07 Rubi through a dealer should I receive 500$ mopar bucks or is it only for new vehicles

Blaine23 Just wanted to say thanks for this thread. I picked up my 2010 Wrangler Unlimited Mountain a few weeks ago in a neighboring state. The dealership hadn't mentioned this promotion, but when I called them back, they faxed over the forms.

I got:
Hardtop Dolly Cart with door cart and cover
MOPAR soft top window bag

The hardtop dolly took up most of the $500, but since the Mountain already came with tail light guards, slush mats, gas cover, freedom panel bag, etc - the dolly was the most practical thing I could get.

RubiDubiDoo I am puting my Thule Rack (hmmm that does not sound like a mopar part...)
I guess if it is in th eMopar Catalog it is fair game...

Anyway, I am putting my Thule Rack to gether today to go play

Loving my jeep, I have 467 miles on it.. so far so good

RubiDubiDoo Wow, I just looked back at my Mopar Bucks and saw all the hits. Awesome!!

I got:
- Rear Mud Flap things,
- Door entry protectors
- Mirror Mounts
- Thule Roadway dual Bike Rack,
- Hitch Drawbar (I already have a ball)
- Keyed Wheel lugs set (even one for the spare)
- Slush mats
- Couple hats (not Mopar, but they threw them in for free)
- 2 Bottles of cleaner just to use the very last of the $$

Total was $505, they said... "close enough".
I wanted a Hitch Drawbar "lock" but that was not a Mopar part....

Pretty Cool!

I ordered

Rear panel guards
Hood Scoop
Hood Wind Deflector ( Maybe this will help keep those green bug splatters off my windshield on the highway)
Gas tank filler

Wind deflector was in stock so i just took that home with me.. I basically ordered parts that i myself would not want to pay for....

IN Total my amount cam out to $495 plus tax which was about 30 bucks... they initially told me it would be 495 plus tax AND labor... I told them I would be doing it myself being that they were easy to begin with...the parts guys was not smiling when I told him that.. I guess he was looking forward to charging me for labor.. No thanks

All in all this is probably the best kept secrets that I know

Thanks WF forum

zerokoo149 I started looking for mine in May, so I know that the $500 mopar bucks incentive was definitely in effect then.
06-18-2010 09:08 AM
Ride_My_Jeep I just called up my dealer and Of course, they were clueless.....I bought my Jeep on the 28th of May so i should still be good

drivebytruckerz I'm about sick of hearing about these $500 Mopar bucks.. but that's probably mostly because I want "free" stuff and don't have any.
06-04-2010 02:08 PM
silvrevo I have seen those too. I also like the under seat locking box for the drivers seat.

Center console and glove box are pretty easy to pop off using a simple screwdriver (speaking from experience)

Tuffy makes center console and glove box door and are good choice (I personally prefer the center console)

4. Extented center arm rest. Looks like a nice idea. stock postion isnt bad at all thou.
5. Grab handles, with rear coat hanger.

This was with the extra jeep cash thrown my way.

Also ordered was the oem sunrider soft top. This was part of the deal.

All in all, it was a fun shopping spree!!

congrats on your purchase!

just a word of caution. there is no such thing as security in a jeep wrangler.

either get a steel storage box with lock or plan on carrying that garmin

BigRichie27 That is not true. You are entitled to use the $500 towards installation, but you are not required to have them install anything. I'm not having them install my speakers or anything else.
06-03-2010 11:18 PM
plac I'm also hearing you HAVE to get everything installed in their service department. No one works on my Jeep but me. If they insist, then they will be keeping their parts and ill be thinking about that during my dealership review.

Ordered:
hitch receiver plug
cargo tote
light bar
door sill guard
cargo area tray
fuel filler door
front air deflector

PartyPat Talked with them today when I picked up my plates. Before this deal, wrangler had the $750 off. Now they are just giving the $500 mopar money.
06-03-2010 03:50 PM
Sf_Kilo Good friends with the salesman, he took $300 off a $100 over invoice sale in exchange lol...
06-03-2010 03:39 PM
BigRichie27 Just got back from the dealer. Had to pick up my registration. I asked about the Mopar bucks and they said I should have been given a form with all my paper work. I told them I was certain that I did not have it and 10 minutes later I was in the parts department ordering some things (Snowboard rack, mirror brackets, speakers, slush mats). I believe the limit is 30 days from purchase, so take advantage if you are within that time frame.

It's the same to you, but not to them.
If they give you 500 bucks off.. they lose 500 bucks
If they give you 500 worth of product, they only pay cost. What might cost you 500 to buy, would only cost them say 250. Then they only lose 250.

You got the better end of the deal.
